because of the upcoming movie adaptation by Ron Howard. At 7 p.m. ET Discovery will repeat The Real Da Vinci Code, a two-hour study of the many details about the Holy Grail presented in Brown's book that seeks to determine the accuracy of the author's research. Discovery will debut Conspiracy Files: Secret History of Jesus at 9 p.m. ET, about the controversial assertion at the center of Brown's book: That Jesus of Nazareth survived his crucifixion
and fathered a child with Mary Magdalene, creating a sacred bloodline some believe to be the actual Holy Grail. Da Vinci's Lost Code, debuting at 10 p.m. ET, attempts to determine if Leonardo da Vinci was a Renaissance genius or a heretic working against the Catholic Church.
Survivor: Panama -- Exile Island (CBS, 8 p.m. ET)
Season Finale. Three Hours. You know the drill: During the first two hours, the remaining four contestants compete in challenges
until only two remain, then the jury grills 'em and eliminates one. The show goes live at the end of hour two and the winner is announced on stage at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. Then all 16 survivors reunite for a lively Q&A with host Jeff Probst.

Malcolm in the Middle (Fox, 8:30 p.m. ET)
Series Finale. A groundbreaking, multiple Emmy-winning single-camera comedy when it debuted in 1999, Malcolm in the Middle has slipped below the radar in recent years, but it has continued to
maintain the same level of absurd comedy that earned it so much acclaim right from the start. In this final episode, brainy Malcolm -- the valedictorian of his graduating class -- prepares for his freshman year at Harvard while dim-bulb Reese schemes to land the gig of his dreams: high school janitor. It's a sin that series stars Jane Kaczmarek and Bryan Cranston were never honored with Emmy Awards for their portrayals of long-suffering Lois and her clueless husband
Hal (though both received multiple nominations during the last seven years). At least recurring player Cloris Leachman (featured in this episode) had better luck. Her portrayal of hateful Grandma Ida brought her one Emmy Award out of five consecutive nominations (2001-05).
Desperate Housewives (ABC, 9 p.m. ET)
Last week the writers ruined Nicollette Sheridan's saucy Edie Britt, revealing her to be a crazed arsonist. They should have left such madness to disposable lesser characters such as Harriet Sansom Harris' vengeful
Felicia Tilman, who in this episode further torments Paul Young (himself a cold-blooded murderer), and Betty Applewhite, who last week tried to kill her own son, Caleb (yet another killer). Meanwhile, still reeling after discovering her son in bed with her boyfriend, Bree teeters on the brink of a nervous breakdown. Kathryn Joosten and Kyle MacLachlan guest star.

Chris O'Donnell and Sara Ramirez are the guest stars. Rumor has it that if Grey's performs well tonight ABC may move it to Monday next season. We'll know for sure on May 16 when the network announces its 2006-07 primetime schedule.

to the Los Angeles office of Crane, Poole & Schmidt and spend time with charismatic senior partner Barry Goal (Robert Wagner). Invasion (ABC, 10 p.m. ET)
Season Finale. Memo to Ryan Seacrest: Hybrids are the half alien-half human beings in this science-fiction series. They are not underpants! Now that we've cleared that up, the hybrids round up the humans during
another hurricane and Larkin, Dave, Jesse and Rose are taken hostage as this under-appreciated thriller reaches its season (and possible series) finale. If ABC doesn't renew the consistently fascinating Invasion for a second year, it should at least consider continuing the franchise as a series of television movies. Eddie Cibriani, William Fichtner and Kari Matchett star.
THURSDAY, MAY 18
Will & Grace (NBC, 8 p.m. ET)

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS, 9 p.m. ET)
Season Finale. The gunshot victim in last week's episode is the center of attention in the sixth season finale, though fans will be

After that emotional workout, Annabeth finally takes a much-needed vacation, only to suffer a sudden loss. Jennifer Finnigan and Christian Kane star.
Ultimate Coyote Ugly Search (CMT, 8 p.m. ET)
