Rocker Rick Springfield became a household name way back in early Eighties when he played Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital, and even though fans at the time began referring to his character as
Rockin' Dr. Drake, he never actually sang on the show. After an absence of 22 years, Springfield returned to GH as Dr. Drake in late 2005, and to date he still hasn't sung a note. That will finally change during today's episode as Springfield performs Who Killed Rock 'n Roll, a song from his upcoming album. Yes, it will be Dr. Drake doing the singing, but he'll be posing as his look-a-like, ailing rock star Eli Love, at a charity concert benefiting the national non-profit organization LIFEbeat.
