1. Creative and innovative marketing can overcome seemingly impossible obstacles.

2. Multitasking is fine as long as you are in control.

4. Look for a good learning experience regardless of what field you go into.

5. Perception is often more important than reality.

6. Expect the unexpected.

7. Never let bureaucracy stand in your way.

8. Never assume you have job security.

9. Find out firsthand what works and why. Equally as important, you need to comprehend why what's not working is not working.

10. One can often apply the successful marketing strategies of one category of business to another.

11. Always try to hire people who have the potential to become more successful than yourself

12. Never assume that something that is doing well is being run properly.

13. What seems important may not really be so.

14. It is critical to be able to prioritize on a triage basis.

15. Rather than making it obvious that your selling someone something, it's more effective to make it seem as if you are doing someone a favor.

16. Don't waste your time dealing with low-level bureaucrats. Get to the key decision-makers quickly and don't worry about offending their underlings.

17. Don't ever hold someone's age against them.

18. There's no such thing as a bad idea.

20. If someone is rude to you get up and leave.

21. Never be concerned that someone will steal your good ideas. Your idea needs you to execute it.
