History, AMC/We, Adult Swim/Cartoon, FX, TBS/TNT, ABC Family, CBS and Telemundo Top List

MyersBizNet asked 300 advertiser and agency decision makers to rate 35 specialty entertainment cable networks and eight broadcast networks based on "Value for the Investment." The top 20 network sales organizations are ranked below. While the definition of value may vary by respondent, agency and client, the ability of a media company to deliver value, whatever its definition, is a critical element of the media selection process. The rankings below are based on the percentage of respondents (who have relationships with each network) who rate each network 4/5 on a five point scale. The full MyersBizNet Member's-Only survey results include ratings and rankings among specific respondent groups, including clients, digital video buyers/planners, TV buyers, regional groups, demo and business category focus, and more. A separate report is available on broadcast network value and a future study will be issued on news, sports and information networks. Similar reports on digital media are available to MyersBizNet members. Categories evaluated and rated by respondents are: Quality Sales Team and Customer Service, Effective Upfront Presentations & Negotiations, Marketing & Promotion Integration Opportunities, Multi-Platform Digital Extensions, Relevant Research Support & Intelligence. Among broadcast networks, CBS-TV ranked first for value, followed by Telemundo, ION and Univision. ABC-TV ranked first in the combined and averaged positive ratings of all six categories. Details on overall performance of specialty entertainment cable networks are available here.
