Paul Greenberg to Head 45TH & Dean in Addition to Current Role as GM, FYI Network; Shannon King joins A+E Networks as Senior Vice President, Content Partnership & Social Media; Todd Pellegrino joins as Senior Vice President, Video Content

NEW YORK – May 12, 2016 –A+E Networks is set to launch 45th & Dean, a multiplatform video and audio storytelling hub, it was announced today by Sean Cohan, President, International and Digital Media, A+E Networks.  Paul Greenberg adds responsibility of Executive Vice President, 45th & Dean, to his current role as Executive Vice President and General Manager, FYI Network.  Reporting to Cohan on 45th & Dean, Greenberg will oversee the group responsible for short and mid-form storytelling, the social media group, and a new Brooklyn-based facility which opens in the fall. 

"A+E Networks is known for telling great stories via video across linear and non-linear platforms" said Cohan.  "45th & Dean is an exciting new chapter for the development, distribution and sharing of new kinds of content to expand our reach, maximize audience engagement and drive value for our partners."

The effort will be hyper-focused on content creation, distribution, measurement and audience development for A+E Networks as well as branded content partners.  Applying innovative techniques and proprietary data from A+E Precision, 45th & Dean will publish daily content strategically produced and distributed for distinct audiences on specific platforms.  

45th & Dean will be a full-service agency supporting brands, shows, advertising and distribution partners.  It will be managed by creatives with diverse professional backgrounds, and will serve as an engine for new ideas and talent.  The agile content development teams will accelerate responsiveness, and the social media marketing teams will publish relevant content to audiences with the goal of driving viewer engagements for A+E Networks' brands and their advertising partners.

As part of 45th & Dean, the company is opening a new studio located at 1000 Dean Street in Brooklyn. The studio will also be used for experiential marketing initiatives and customized client events.  In addition, 45th & Dean will have dedicated staff based at the company's LA and Manhattan offices.

Greenberg has extensive experience in digital media and video storytelling. Prior to his roles at A+E Networks, he served as CEO of Nylon, one of the world's top authorities on fashion, music and pop culture content, as well as CEO of CollegeHumor.

Shannon King joins Greenberg's team as SVP, Content Partnerships & Social Media. She will oversee digital content partner relationships, as well as social media teams across A+E Networks.  Previously, King held positions as COO of Levo League, where she managed the full scope of Levo's community-based organization including business operations and strategy for technology, content, audience marketing, business development and monetization for all digital and offline platforms, and General Manager at Time Inc.'s RealSimple digital portfolio. Her strong digital background also includes extended stints at Yahoo! and AOL.

Todd Pellegrino joins Greenberg's team as SVP, Video Content after previously serving as Partner at New Wave Entertainment's New York division. Pellegrino will oversee all short form video content output at 45th & Dean.  Prior to New Wave, Pellegrino co-founded and built the production company P3 Entertainment where he was the Executive Producer for three seasons of the branded digital project MLB Fan Cave. Pellegrino also co-created the Emmy-nominated ESPN.com web series, Mayne Street, and developed and was the Showrunner for all 77 episodes of the ESPN scripted comedy series Cheap Seats.
