Google, Yahoo! and Federated Media were named winners of the Interactive Advertising BureauAnnual Sales Excellence Awards at the annual IAB Conference being held this week in Carlsbad, CA. Google received the IAB Award for Long Term Sales Organization Achievement; Yahoo! received the award for Most Innovative Sales Organization; and Federated Media won for Best Newcomer. The Sales Representative of the Year Award was won by Kevin Sullivan of Burst Media with runners-up David Antonelli of MTV Networks, Mike Chu of ValueClick Media, Ryan Mayward of NBC Universal and Ali Van Putten of Aol. The awards are based on the results of the annual Jack MyersMedia Business Report Survey of Advertising Executives on Online Sales Organization Attributes. The Myers survey is underwritten by 60 agencies, media companies, research and financial firms that subscribe to the Jack MyersMedia Business Report. IAB award winners must be IAB members and cannot win in repeat years.
