How can clients and teams reimagine what marketing should look like in an increasingly multicultural world? That's a big question that's front and center for Arnetta Whiteside, who is Senior Vice President, Multicultural at Publicis Media. Whiteside also talked about how she's helping to develop nontraditional ways of measuring audiences at Publicis' Cultural Quotient unit, and she offered compelling advice to younger members of the ad community about developing soft skills and attracting mentors who can help them succeed.

Whiteside has a special passion for her "side hustle" -- serving as national co-chair for Publicis's business resource group VivaWomen of Color. She's the recipient of Advertising Week's inaugural 2019 Future is Female Award and was named a "Rock Star" by Ad Club of New York via its 2020 Icons, Rock Stars and Innovators list.
