In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, TV/Video Download correspondent Kelly Kozakevich shares the work of three people who are bringing awareness to their heritage with their TikTok platforms.

Mikaele Oloa (@maugamu) loves to share his Polynesian Culture with the world by explaining Polynesian slang, cooking traditional meals and harvesting taro, a tropical plant. As a proud Korean-American growing up with immigrant parents, Janette Ok (@inmyseams) creates content focused on diversity, size inclusivity, breaking stereotypes and shedding light on the beauty of her heritage. Jessica Woo (@sulheejessica) is most known for her food and lifestyle content, specifically her clips of assembling bento-style lunches where she incorporates styled-up healthy ethnic dishes.
