Organize Your Connections

Sept. 25, 2015 -- Become a social strategist. If you want to reach your target through social media, be aware of each platform’s advantages and disadvantages. For example, if your target is B2B, then LinkedIn might be a better option than reaching out through a more personal platform like Facebook. Define the abilities and boundaries of each platform and you’ll be sure to find success.

Sept. 18, 2015 -- Land more leads by aligning your sales efforts with your marketing efforts. Utilize blog posts and downloadable content for prospects by sending them related content about your industry. This will help bridge the gap between you and the prospect.

Sept. 11, 2015 -- On LinkedIn, the “who’s viewed your profile” feature is a goldmine for making connections with people who have already demonstrated an interest in you or your company. Take advantage of this by monitoring these visits and send personalized emails to connect if relevant.

Sept. 4, 2015 -- Use the LinkedIn tags feature. You can easily set up tags and spend a little time each week organizing your connections. Tag the new people you connect with on LinkedIn as you go. You can also tag or segment your LinkedIn network members using an outside CRM program if you prefer.
