Dancing with the Stars on ABC bid farewell to its first contestant last night, as Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran and partner Keo Motsepe were eliminated from the show.  No other contestant this season entered the competition with as much exuberance as Corcoran, and despite displaying a vast improvement this week with her tango (scoring a 17 out of 30), it wasn’t enough to keep her in the running for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy.  “It’s all a mistake!” Corcoran cried post-show.  “Definitely all a mistake!”

It was Corcoran’s wry sense of humor – she continually eluded to instigating an affair with Motsepe -- that made her a joy to have on the show.  It was also the reason her partner was sorry to see their journey end after just one week of competition.  “I never stopped laughing,” Motsepe said of his time with her.  “I was very humbled to dance with her so for the time I got to spend with her, I am grateful.”

When quizzed about what Corcoran will miss most about the show, she didn’t miss a beat.  “I’ll miss all the dreams I have been having at night about Keo and how life could be and waking up in the middle of the night screaming his name,” she laughed.

Thanks to her brief time on DWTS, viewers got to see a completely different side to the usually stoic “shark” -- and that’s something she’s happy about.  “I value fun more than anything else in life,” she revealed.  “I don’t give a crap about money.  I’ve kind of always made money by accident.

“I had my eye on the ball,” she continued.  “But I just wanted to have a lot of fun and my God, have I had fun with Keo on this dance floor.  It’s really been a gift from heaven.”

The self-admitted “soft touch” did say that before pursuing anything further relationship-wise with Motsepe, a conversation with her husband of 24 years was much needed.  However, had he stepped to the side, a proposal to Motesope may have been inevitable.

All joking aside, last night Corcoran also revealed that she suffers from dyslexia, something that made learning her dance steps all the more difficult.  “Any learning disability is hard,” she asserted.  “But I was surprised how much it affected my ability to learn steps quickly.  [Keo] was a saint.  He had to do so much repetition.  It was like learning to read all over again and painful.”

With her dance shoes hung up, Corcoran heads back to Shark Tank for a new season of her hit ABC series.  But I couldn’t let her go without asking if she would continue to dance?  “F$%^ing A,” she declared with a cheeky smile.

Tonight another couple leaves the ballroom in a special second elimination episode of DWTS at 9 p.m. on ABC.
