At our September dinner at Michael’s restaurant in New York City, Jim Rosenfield, Sr., former President of CBS-TV, shared stories about his longtime friend and colleague Kay Koplovitz and their business partnerships over the years. “Kay, to this day, represents the kinds of loyalties and memories that stick with us through all periods of time,” he remarked. He also recalled the time he spent an afternoon at City Hall as a witness to a colleague’s wedding, laughing and commenting that moments like this are what keep industry relationships alive and well. Linda Yaccarino, Steve Grubbs, Julie Roehm, Tony Ponturo and Nancy Smith were among the legends in the room.

Underwritten by Simulmedia and NBCUniversal, our Legends & Leaders series honors those who have shaped the modern media, advertising and marketing industries and recognizes today's emerging leaders. At exclusive dinner and cocktail events held quarterly, senior industry leaders gather to wine, dine and share their most interesting and personal anecdotes from over the course of their careers. Follow this series to gain insights from these luminaries and the relationships that drive our industry.
