During our September dinner at Michael’s restaurant in New York City, Linda Yaccarino, NBCUniversal’s Chairman of Advertising Sales and Client Partnerships, shares a touching personal story about her friend and mentor, Joe Uva. Uva believed in Yaccarino early on when she started out at Turner in the '90s as one of the few women in syndication, and he went above and beyond to help her through a trying time after September 11. “Joe became a lifelong hero in my family,” she commented on the emotional incident.
