Michael Kassan Named 2021 Walt Disney Philanthropist of the Year
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) is honoring Michael E. Kassan as the 2021 Walt Disney Philanthropist of the Year recipient at the hybrid "The Big Night Out and In" gala this Thursday October 21st. The award is presented annually to an individual who sets a high standard of excellence in their professional accomplishments and, personal humanitarianism and has made a significant impact in the areas of youth empowerment. Michael has recently been inducted as a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America's Board of Directors.
Instacart President Carolyn Everson, who will introduce Michael, commented: "This honor recognizes what we all know to be true about Michael -- he is inherently generous, kind, has a massive heart, and has a deep passion for mentoring and empowering our youth. Michael has been involved with this organization for years and has been devoted to the mission -- supporting the youth of Los Angeles in underserved communities by providing one-to-one mentoring and building those tight-knit relationships for our future generations."
The recognition by BBBSLA reinforces Michael's career-long commitment to mentorship.
