By comparison, the annual spending total of $51.7 billion will near the $56.4 billion in annual national TV ad spend by 2020. National TV includes total ad spend for cable & broadcast networks, national syndication, and VOD, addressable, and interactive TV. The rate of year-to-year growth is expected to decline from 2017 to 2020 but remain above 20% through 2020.
