Nickelodeon Kids and Family Group has been named Best TV Sales Organization of 2008 by more than 250 advertiser and agency executives who participated in this year's Myers Survey of Advertising Executives on National TV Value and Sales Organization Performance.This is the 25th year the Myers survey has been conducted and the first time Nickelodeon has been the top performer. A total of 38 national TV sales groups were included in the vote, which measures each organization on seven performance attributes. Of the seven attributes, Nickelodeon ranked first in three categories and second in two categories. The top five national TV sales organizations, which includes broadcast and cable networks, also included Scripps Networks, The Weather Channel, NBC Universal Cable Networks and Hallmark Channel. Several sales organizations, Such as A&E Networks, Turner Entertainment and Fox Broadcasting were named by ad execs as the most outstanding organization for delivering on promises. The top five network organizations in each of the seven attribute categories are listed in the attached documents, along with additional insights from the Myers survey.
