Productivity - Jerry Shereshewsky

I thought it was only me. And maybe my wife. Writing, reading and responding (the new “3 R’s”?) 11 at night. Three in the morning. 7am. On the computer, reading, writing and responding. But so is everyone else.

I am not sure why this surprises me. But once upon a time you went home and perhaps did some reading on the train. And once upon a time you got maybe 10 or 11 memos and letters a day. Now it’s non-stop, 24/7. If I can get my inbox down to 50 I think I am doing well. Hundreds a day. In, out, and back again.

So this is what we do now. Barely time to think. Mostly read, write and respond.

This is better, I think.
