Coming out as you are holding down a job -- and just before your spouse is about to give birth -- is no easy feat. Jenn Renoe knows this firsthand. In the following interview with Kate Byrne, she discusses her learnings along the path to becoming her authentic self. Renoe is an Associate Media Director at Publicis Health Media in New York City and the Global Co-Lead of the Égalité LGBTQ+ BRG. As a transgender woman, she works to advocate on behalf of her transgender siblings in professional settings as both a writer and speaker. Last January, she was named to the OUTstanding Top 100 LGBT+ Future Leaders list.
