Statement on Racial Justice and Equity
“Dentsu Aegis Network realizes just striving for inclusivity isn’t enough to achieve meaningful change, we must also be actively Anti-Racist. We have an obligation to take a critical look at our practices and behavior, and then do the work to create sustainable equity for our Black and POC colleagues. We are having open and transparent discussions with our employees and are working together to build plans to create a truly equitable workplace, absent of discrimination, racism, or bias.
Our core priority is to not mistake activity for progress, and we won’t allow rhetoric to get in the way of our actions. Our orientation is inside out, so we are going to focus on the work we need to do, to achieve the change we want to see. Once we have meaningful progress we will share our actions, recognizing the need for future collaboration to achieve industry improvement at pace and scale.”
