TechCrunch Disrupt, occurring this week in San Francisco, is an important venue for early stage technology companies. Start-ups from all over the world come to rub shoulders with some of the most successful entrepreneurs and investors in Silicon Valley, not to mention Angel investor Ashton Kutcher. More than twenty Israeli technology start-ups are exhibiting, presenting or competing in the "Startup Battlefield".

Binpress: A real-time discovery service and marketplace for source-code, reducing the time and costs of software development.

Bizzabo: Makes networking at events and conferences easier. This is a location-based app that helps attendees find, meet and connect with relevant professionals.

Cellogic: Expertise in lock screen mobile content syndication, with their product Flyscreen. Cellogic's integration partners include tier-1 carriers and large content publishers. FlyScreen is a mobile application that embeds web content onto your phone's lockscreen, enabling zero click access and high content exposure and engagement.

CONTEXTin: An advertising technology company providing pricing solutions for display advertising media. The company combines unique ad-impression representation with advanced big data prediction algorithms. It provides advertisers with the ability to scale their performance-based online campaigns beyond the standard media buying optimization techniques.

Daps'em: Show your appreciation for friends with a virtual fist bump ("Dap"), either via web or iPhone app.

Dome 9: Makes security as elastic as the cloud with multi-platform cloud server security management. Available for the enterprise and hosting providers, Dome9 provides dynamic security policy control for Clouds, Virtual Private Servers (VPS), dedicated servers, and Amazon Security Groups.

Doweet: A simple tool to let you stream the things you want to do for the people that matter most. You simply define what, when, and where you plan to do an activity, choose the people you want to invite, and automatically it is shared with this select group.

Evo: Builds personalized content and services based on data gathered from signal processing algorithms. Their "Smarter Parenting" service lets parents monitor their baby from anywhere, even when busy. Based on data from your baby, evoz provides insights, content, products and expert services.

Fanzila: Developers of the world's first social apps service for Facebook, Fanzila is a SaaS company that offers new ways to engage and understand fans. Fanzila upgrades Facebook with blogs, forums, competitions and more, giving page owners additional capabilities to engage their fans.

Interlude: Founded by popular Israeli rock musician, Yoni Bloch, Interlude is a technology platform that transforms online video into a "choose your own adventure" experience. Both in narrative and commercial story-telling, consumers can create a unique and dynamic version of an online video based on pre-recorded audio/visual segments. As the video plays, users become co-directors, making decisions in real time. The video never pauses with a shareable personalized version of the video created from millions of unique possibilities.

Nooly: A platform and algorithm for predicting the exact minute when rain will begin or end. It predicts more than 10 million locations in the US, all within 1 square km. Nooly will accurately predict where (within one square-mile), when (to the minute) and type of weather event that will occur.

Onavo: The mobile data saving experts, Onavo has a range of apps that put Smartphone users in control of their data usage. Onavo's apps for iOS and Android use advanced compression and analytics technology to squeeze more out of your data plan and help you save money.

RankAbove: Leader in SEO data management and SEO technologies. Their "Drive" product is a search platform for managing SEO processes.

vCita:  Helps professional service providers realize their full business potential online by engaging and meeting their online audience, acquiring clients and providing services online.
