The 2023 Jay Chiat Awards Will Honor Strategies From All Creative Companies
Now in its 26th year, the Jay Chiat Awards recognizes the best strategic thinking in marketing, media and advertising around the world. Each year, JCA winners demonstrate "breakthrough thinking that led to breakthrough execution."
The 2023 JCAs will honor the best strategy work from 2022 in the following categories: Brand Pivot Strategy, Connection Strategy, CX Strategy, Experiential Strategy, Healthcare Strategy, National Strategy, Nonprofit Strategy, Product/Service Creation Strategy, Public Relations Strategy, Regional Strategy and Sustainability Strategy. The submission deadline for the 2023 JCAs is June 9, 2023 and submissions can be completed online at www.jaychiat.aaaa.org.
The JCAs honor planning and strategy from all creative companies: media agencies, advertising agencies, brand consultancies, brand owners, designers, digital shops, experiential shops, innovation firms, PR agencies and beyond. And they honor all forms of strategy: the consumer insight, the re-framing of a problem, the re-articulation of a brand, the inspirational brief, the groundbreaking connections plan, the previously unspoken truth, the lateral use of data, the breakthrough in user experience, and any combination of them.
"If every other industry award honors the output, the Jay Chiat Awards reward the groundbreaking input that allowed those campaigns to break through all the noise," says Eric Rickert, Manager, Member Engagement & Development at the 4A's.
The 2023 JCAs will honor the best strategy work from 2022 in the following categories: Brand Pivot Strategy, Connection Strategy, CX Strategy, Experiential Strategy, Healthcare Strategy, National Strategy, Nonprofit Strategy, Product/Service Creation Strategy, Public Relations Strategy, Regional Strategy and Sustainability Strategy.
Awards will be given to Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, as well as the Grand Prix prize that is awarded to one entry that our executive judging panel deems to be the best across all categories.
"Over the last few years, we've worked to further define the Jay Chiat Awards in terms of strategic excellence and also their importance across various industries and verticals," Rickert says. "This is the top award in the discipline of strategy."
This year's winners will be announced and honored at the Jay Chiat Awards Ceremony on October 2 in New York City. The JCAs kick off StratFest, which will be held on October 3rd and is the only conference for strategists by strategists and where this vibrant community of thinkers, ideators and innovators is celebrated.
