Twitch, a live streaming video platform owned by Amazon.com, has become the leading online gaming network, where over 45 million monthly visitors watch others game live or broadcast their own games. And now YouTube is entering this highly engaged space with their YouTube Gaming service, debuting yesterday.

There is tremendous opportunity for brands to get involved. It follows a Communi-Seeking trend Mindshare identified where people are seeking out new ways to connect to others. For brands, this is about connecting with highly engaged and elusive young male consumers.
