Phil most recently spearheaded the Nielsen acquisition of Arbitron, as the board chairman for Arbitron. As a senior media executive at Benton & Bowles, he was responsible for the creation of the industry’s first unbundled TV buying agency, which evolved into Mediavest. At General Motors, where he served as VP Corporate Advertising and Marketing for five years, he redefined the role of marketing within the company and created the industry first single client media planning and buying operation, GM PlanWorks. He is now CEO of PG Ventures and has served as a special advisor to several companies including the NFL.
