Mindshare North America has launched a new podcast series, Beyond the Rosé: Mindshare@Cannes. This six-episode series explores the main trends and takeaways from the Cannes Lions Festival. Two podcasts follow; look for more later in the week.
First up: "Why Weather is Better Than Sex," the debut episode that premiered on Friday, June 17. Weather affects the choices we make every day; how we'll commute to work, the clothes we'll dress our kids in and what we'll do with our families on the weekend. Paul Walsh, Weather and Climate Strategist of The Weather Company, joins Adam Gerhart, CEO, Mindshare U.S. and Bethany Mach, Executive Director/Global Client Lead, Mindshare NA to talk about how Cannes attendees can think creatively about weather data and using it in media.
In our second episode, "The 2020 Cannes Grand Prix Winner," Bethany Mach sits down with Cary Tilds, Chief Innovation Officer at GroupM, to discuss her work and how the exponential changes in technology are impacting Cannes. From virtual and augmented reality to artificial intelligence, Cary looks at what's fueling creativity at the festival this year, explores the shift from interactive ideas to experiential content and predicts what a Grand Prix-winning campaign will look like in 2020.
There'll be new episodes of "Beyond the Rosé: Mindshare@Cannes" from Wednesday through Friday. For more info, check out MindshareInTheLoop.com.
