Toddlers & Tiaras is an American reality series that debuted on The Learning Channel (TLC) in January of 2009. In its fourth season, the program is drawing a lot of criticism from parental groups who are stating that these parents are robbing their kids of their childhood by encouraging their daughters to perform in these pageants.

TLC and advertisers are now able to learn more about the audience who watches Toddlers & Tiaras by learning what they are purchasing. In this case, Energy Drinks, Toaster Pastries/Tarts, Hair Styling Gel/Mousse, Pet Care (Dog) and Razors/Blades rank among the highest in terms of Purchaser Rating Points™ (PRPs) while household product categories such as Cleaning Tools, Floor Cleaners and Laundry Care should steer clear of purchasing the program to avoid wasting their media spend. By using TRA’s StoryFinder™, advertisers are able to restructure their media buys to eliminate wasteful spending by reallocating their media spend into programs that provide them with a higher return on investment while it also allows networks to know exactly which advertisers would benefit the most from advertising on their programs.
