Dennis presently oversees the Home Box Office (HBO) account, managing all media operations for both the Network and Home Entertainment divisions. He and his team are charged to develop creative high-impact media solutions which help HBO achieve its ongoing marketing objectives while maintaining the network's brand prestige. Recent campaigns include the critically-acclaimed series True Blood, and Eastbound and Down as well as the original films Taking Chance and Grey Gardens.
Before joining PHD, Dennis was VP Brand Group Director at Horizon Media, where we managed the A&E Television Networks account, which includes the A&E, History and Bio brands. Campaign highlights included A&E's The Andromeda Strain and History's Ice Road Truckers. Additionally he managed the media activity for the Comcast-owned sports network Versus, as well as INGDirect, Florida's Natural and Buffalo Wild Wings.
Dennis spent six years in Washington, DC, managing a variety of film studio accounts, including Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Fox Searchlight and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Campaigns included Forrest Gump, Braveheart and Independence Day. He also served as Manager of Media & Research at Artisan Entertainment, overseeing media campaigns and research projects for several film releases, including Darren Aranofsky's Requiem for A Dream.
In 2005 he published his first book, Correct Me If I'm Wrong, a collection of humorous essays and observations about life in New York, the world of media and his fascination with pop culture.
Dennis is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a degree in Journalism. He and his wife reside in Manhattan.
