The world of media and communications has changed more in the last five years than in the previous twenty-five. It will change faster in the next two years than in the last five. That is either invigorating or terrifying depending on your point of view.
That’s why we at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University have created NavigateNewMedia.com. It brings together the best minds from the media industry and academia take a deep look at the key issues related to the digital media revolution. Unlike the usual digital media blogs, NavigateNewMedia (NNM) offers deeper analysis of issues, looking at them from many different media disciplines all at once.
The articles and interviews on this site are intended to describe specific media changes that are occurring, predict how those changes will affect the future of media, and offer detailed suggestions to help media professionals navigate stormy seas. Academic and professional contributors to this site are encouraged to provide articles and input. If you are interested in submitting an article to the editorial board, please follow the guidelines in the Contributors section of this site.
