Not surprisingly, the conversation kicked off with the impact of data on transforming the industry. Lyle Schwartz weighed in on the critical importance of balancing data with insights. Erica Schmidt spoke of the challenges of moving clients out of their comfort zone. Andy Donchin shared what keeps him up at night (hint: it’s not late-night lattés).
But Jason Kanefsy disagreed that data was the most transformational element impacting the industry. “I don’t think data is the story.” Click here to find out what he thinks the story is.
And in warning that the road ahead may be a long one, Louis Jones seemed to sum up what all of the executives were thinking. “We’re looking at the future and thinking ‘Wow, this business – we’ve been through a bunch of radical change.’ If you think that was tough, you better buckle up now because it’s about to get really difficult,” he said.
