Video: Advancing Diversity Honoree -- Ad Council's Lisa Sherman

Lisa Sherman, President/CEO of the Ad Council was inducted into the Diversity Hall of Honors for the “Love Has No Labels” campaign at the Advancing Diversity Honors held January 10 during CES. While the concept originated with the team at Coke, and a PSA was created by R/GA, brand partners amplifying the message now include Pepsi, P&G, Unilever, State Farm and Allstate, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Google and Johnson & Johnson.

For Sherman, supporting the campaign was particularly meaningful. “Diversity is not a moment — it is a movement. And ‘Love Has No Labels’ is just the beginning.” Sherman shares a story about her own journey and her very personal connection to the campaign in the video above.
