Alyson Fouse Has Cooked Up a New Classic with Bounce TV’s "Act Your Age" (Video)
I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Alyson Fouse, creator of Bounce TV’s newest sitcom Act Your Age. Starring Kym Whitley, Tisha Campbell and Yvette Nicole Brown, AYA follows three successful women who share a luxury penthouse in the DMV (that's the region encompassing the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia) as they navigate life, love, parenthood and more. Alyson talked about the legendary actors that she has cast, her philosophy on comedies, and who her show's main audience may be. "Look, we all watched The Golden Girls, because it was funny," she said. "You don’t go 'Hey, I’m just talking to women' or 'Hey, I’m just taking to guys.’ I think as long as we come from truth, and have fun, everybody will tune in."
Act Your Age will have a special two-episode premiere Saturday, March 4 at 8 p.m. on Bounce TV.
