With the industry being “bloated” with metrics (see Jack Neff’s recent article ) the wise brand managers are working to bridge the gap between their brand objectives and their television spend by buying the programs with the best chance to reach their target consumers…based on actual purchase behavior, not surrogate metrics that don’t actually tell them what they want to know.
