Margarita Lam: Supercharging Companies' Future Growth by Identifying Key Patterns (Video)

One of the most anticipated speakers at the Media Financial Management Association's annual conference in May is Margarita Lam. She is the Head of the Media, Entertainment and Gaming Practice at Point B, a consultancy firm. In conversation with MediaVillage contributor Janet Stilson, Lam discusses her involvement with some of the most well-known mergers and acquisitions in the business -- as well as Point B's work with six of the top ten streaming platforms.

It's through recognizing certain patterns and trends -- along with a whole lot of deep research -- that Lam has been able to help companies find the most profitable path forward. She sees huge growth ahead for free ad-supported television platforms -- as well as continued crossover between videogames, episodic TV and theatrical releases. Prior to Point B, Lam was a Vice President at NBCUniversal. And at Time Warner, she was the Chief of Staff to Time Inc.'s CEO.
