"Ozzie and Harriet" Need Your Help! - Herbie J Pilato

The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, one of America's favorite family sitcoms of all time (which originally ran on ABC from 1952 to 1966) was the first to feature an entire family in the cast thatRicky+Nelsonplayed themselves. The show featured real-life married couple Ozzie and Harriet Nelson, and their sons, David and Rick Nelson – the latter of whom went on to become a music pop-star sensation and motion picture star (in films like Rio Bravo, released in 1959 – see photo right).

Unfortunately, the entire cast has now passed away. And though embedded in the American TV psyche, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet has never been released on DVD.

But Sam Nelson, grandson to the show's parental leads, and son of David, is making every attempt to change that. And you can help.

The beloved and iconic program, which so very well represents the ideals of true American family values, deserves to be preserved, packaged and distributed not only to original Ozzie and Harriet fans, but to contemporary and future viewers of all ages.
