Pride Month Roundtable: "Live Loudly and Take Up Your Space" (Video)

In celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, we are thrilled to be joined by a delightful group from across the entertainment industry and the LGBTQ+ community: Damian Terriquez of Netflix’s Glamorous; Mrs. Kasha Davis of RuPaul’s Drag RaceandRuPaul's Drag Race All Stars; Tyler DiChiara of The CW’s Gotham Knights, and former child actor-turned-country music star Brian Falduto.

The group discusses the people and performances they saw growing up that made them feel represented, how some of their current work is helping push for meaningful representation and authentic storytelling and the impact of recent anti-LGBTQ+ legislation throughout the country. They also share words of wisdom and courage for anyone in the community who may be fearful of celebrating this month.

Mrs. Kasha Davis had some especially powerful words to say about homophobic behavior: "People jump to angry when they’re fearful. People are being supported in the queer community all over the world right now and that is scaring all of the fringe conservatives who are very loud. We can be louder."

"[Pride] isn’t a party," cautions DiChiara. "We’ve had to fight for our rights. We are still fighting and now they’re being taken away from us in almost every state in this country."
