Warner Bros. Discovery announced new and returning advertising partners for Shark Week 2023, which will air from Sunday, July 23 to Saturday, July 29 on Discovery Channel and will be available to stream concurrently on Max and discovery+. Reaching a milestone 35th year, Shark Week will take viewers on epic journeys in exciting new series and specials. This year's slate of advertising partners feature organic sponsorship opportunities that build upon the storytelling of Shark Week and elevate the clients' brands, all while reaching a highly engaged audience.

Shark Week is thrilled to welcome new partnerships from brands consumers know and love. New clients include Budweiser, Chili's Grill & Bar, Cinnamon Toast Crunch™, Domino's, MTN DEW®, Long John Silver's and University of Phoenix. Shark Week offers cross-platform sponsorship opportunities such as on-air elements including custom vignettes, tagged tune-ins, billboards and in-program messaging, as well as robust social media campaigns across TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Returning to Shark Week this year are Gorilla Glue, PNC Bank, Sport Clips and Wayfair.

"Shark Week attracts impressive audiences year after year, and we create endemic sponsorship opportunities for clients that fit seamlessly into the programming to deliver enjoyable advertising experiences for engaged consumers," said Jon Diament, Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales at Warner Bros. Discovery. "We work closely with our sponsors to ensure their overall marketing objectives are met through unique and impactful campaigns that provide unmatched reach and scale through our wide portfolio of brands."

Shark Week is a pop culture phenomenon that has delighted viewers for 35 years and this year, Shark Week 2023 will be hosted by Jason Momoa. With nearly 20 new hours of television featuring the apex predators, Shark Week will deliver epic stories and discoveries while Momoa's pre-taped segments serve to emphasize his own passion for protecting and preserving oceans. Programming highlights include "Belly of the Beast: Feeding Frenzy," which will provide a first time, close-up look at a great white shark feast - captured by researchers with cameras inside a whale carcass decoy - and "Cocaine Sharks," which reveals what happens to sharks that possibly feed on cocaine and other illegal drugs dumped in South Florida waters.
