If Sarah Palin Runs For President Will Her Running Mate Be "Joe the Plumber?" - Steve Blacker - MediaBizBloggers

"Going Rogue," Sarah Palin's successful going-for-broke campaign to make herself independently wealthy, reflects America's dissatisfaction with both political parties and all politicians. While President Obama ponders sending more troops to Afghanistan and promotes very unpopular health care reform, he begins to remind me of a very smart but indecisive Jimmy Carter. Without question the entire political environment is undergoing a sea change. Because so many Americans feel overlooked, underpaid and poor, the popularity of Palin-like media clones such as Glenn Beck continues to surge. While many of us in media laugh at the possibility of Sarah Palin ever becoming President, remember that "Joe Six Pack" and "Hockey Moms" elected W for two terms. With 10% unemployed and possibly 17% when you include those who stopped looking for a job, there is a tremendous amount of dissatisfaction with the establishment and elected officials.
