The CW's Sammy Yates on Branded Entertainment, Escapist TV Content and Diversity

As the manager of brand entertainment at The CW, Sammy Yates has important responsibilities in the creative development and execution of branded entertainment partnerships.

Sammy joins me for this week's #Ask-GenZ conversation to share her experiences as a young person in the industry and discuss how The CW is different from other networks. "What separates us is our content and unique voice," she says. "Whether you're a sports fan and love All American, if you like teen dramas like Riverdale, or if you're a superhero buff and tap into our DC shows, our programming is unlike anything else on TV."

Sammy and I discuss how to navigate internships and offers networking advice during the pandemic. You'll want to hear her perspectives on diversity and inclusion in the workforce.
