Cast of NBC's "Found" on Raising Awareness of Ignored Missing Persons Cases (Video)

One of the few saving graces of scripted television to air this fall during (and now after) the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes was NBC's new thrilling drama Found. The series follows Gabi Mosely, played by Shameless alum Shanola Hampton, who also serves as executive producer, who runs a crisis management firm that takes on missing persons cases that have been dismissed by the police. A former abductee herself, Gabi leads a dedicated task force to reunite missing people with their families, no matter the cost. We sat down with the cast of the series to discuss how the show raises awareness on the disparity between missing persons cases of people of color vs white and privileged families, as seen in the series pilot.

"It's really important to tell stories that are relevant, that reflect on what's going on in the world," Hampton shared. "It's one of the things that I definitely wanted to do with my platform, not only as an actor, but to do something with purpose and this is a project with purpose."

Watch our full conversation with cast members Shanola Hampton, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Karan Oberoi, Brett Dalton, Arlen Escarpeta, and Gabrielle Walsh above.

New episodes of Found air Tuesdays at 10pm ET and are available to stream the next day on Peacock,
