The 2019 initiatives and inductees include:

They join 2018 Advancing Diversity Hall of Honors inductees Advertising Council (Lisa Sherman), Crowdfunding Roadmap (Ruth Hedges), Ernst & Young (Megan Hobson and Hiren Shukla), Interactive Advertising Bureau (Randall Rothenberg and Megan Hauck), Interpublic Group (Michael Roth and Heide Gardner), Nielsen (Angela Talton), Springboard Enterprises (Kay Koplovitz) and Unilever (Aline Santos).

“We are recognizing leaders in media and marketing who are boldly evoking change and creating a more welcoming environment for future leaders by championing diversity and inclusion in their organizations, the industry and society," said Jack Myers, Founder of MediaVillage and Jack Myers KnowledgeExchange.  "We are proud to have the opportunity to share their successes and offer a roadmap for companies to advance their own diversity efforts.”

Through a partnership with Sundance Institute and IDEO, the event will be a Creative Tensions immersive experience.  “Creative Tensions is not a panel; it's an immersive experience," Myers said.  "Exploring topics that lie at the heart of what it means to be human, Creative Tensions is a fresh approach to group dialogue that encourages openness and inspires empathy.  It will be the most memorable event at CES this year.”

With a focus on talent acquisition and retention, the program will also include the second annual Inclusivity Talent Job Fair, offering opportunities for candidates interested in media and advertising to meet with recruiters from some of the world’s leading media and tech companies currently hiring for open positions.

Leadership partners include Facebook, Google, Denstu Aegis, Crown Media, Ascential, Viacom, and Publicis Media. Pay-It-Forward and Impact partners include IPG, Turner, The Walt Disney Company, Nielsen and Budweiser.

The Advancing Diversity Honors supports employment diversity across gender, cultural, handicapped, military and education initiatives, including the Budweiser partnership with Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to the families of service members disabled or fallen in the line of duty.  Each of these inductees has activated change within their organizations and inspired others through their dedication to attracting and retaining a diverse workforce.
