Beauty and the Geek Season 4 Premiere: Funnier Than Ever

Q quotWho wrote Beethoven39s Fifth SymphonyquotA quotMozartquotAhhh Beauty and the Geek It39s baackI can39t get enough of this show Going into this fourth season I thought can it still be good Will the cast exaggerate their dumbnessgeekiness just to get on the show Will the humor resonate for the fourth time aroundWell after watching the two hour premiere all I can say is that Beauty and the Geek is back and better than everI wasn39t going to watch the show last night Since it was two hours I DVR39d it and planned to watch it this weekend But then at 11 pm I thought I39d hit play just to watch for a few minutes to get a glimpse of the new season That glimpse led me to stay awake until 1 am since I couldn39t hit the stop button I was hooked And laughing hysterically for two hours straight But we39ll get to that in a momentFirst as mostly everyone knows by now this year has a twist There is an extra team participating in the social experiment also consisting of a beauty and a geek But the beauty is a guy and the geek is a girl Most of all I think this is going to create problems in the house With only one hot guy for nine beauties there is sure to be drama Just how many of them will he make out with Of course it39s likely to cause the girls to turn against each other More importantly though I hope hope hope that the hot guy is nice to the geeks and helps them out as well as opposed to making them feel even more inadequate which is bound to happen anyway once the beauties go hog wild over him instead of them I also really hope that one of the geeky guys gets together with the geeky girl and they live happily ever afterLet39s get back to the humor that is Beauty and the Geek During the casting special hosted mainly by last season39s lovers Nate and Jenny Lee Nate asked the potential beauties quotWho wrote Beethoven39s Fifth Symphonyquot Most of the girls looked at him in shock but the best answers were the one above Mozart and another girl39s who said something to the extent of quotI don39t read books Only magazinesquot Yes because Beethoven39s Fifth Symphony is a bookAnother girl didn39t know the difference between the sun and the moon One beauty Jasmine who is cast on the show said she tells people she speaks French and then walks away so that they can39t ask her what she knows since she can39t actually speak any language other than English Because that39s normal Another potential beauty when asked who won the Civil War responded that the US did because the US wins all wars And my favorite of all When the beauties and geeks were giving a toast and one of the geeks said quotL39chaimquot Beauty Shalandra responded with quotL39what L39hamquot Her confusion was goldenThen there were the geeks Every time a geek was on screen I sat on my couch with my jaw completely dropped to the floor Josh my absolute favorite of the geeks called his mother when he had to tell the beauties about himself There39s also David who participates in LARPing live action role playing He plays with swords and honestly I have no idea what else because I must admit that LARPing is quite foreign to me which is probably a good thing Although I39m also sure we39ll learn lots about it as the season progressesThe list goes on and on of all the absurdities that occurred on last night39s episode It put me in the best mood as I haven39t laughed that hard for that long probably since Beauty and the Geek premiered the first time this season is much better than last39s So if you missed the premiere be sure to tune in to The CW next Tuesday at 8 pm ET to watch the fun unfold
