In this special episode of the Storytelling Revolution we talk to Leland Vittert, news anchor at NewsNation Network, a national news and entertainment cable network reaching 75 million television households across the United States. Vittert is no stranger to war zones, having covered the Arab Spring on the night Mubarak left power in Egypt and then Gaddafi's counterattack in the besieged city of Misurata in Libya. In 2014, Vittert covered Eastern Ukraine as Russian-backed militias took over parts of the country. Covering the Russian invasion today is of personal significance to him, given his family's Ukrainian roots and heritage.
