This week, actor Dylan McDermott joins the cast of CBS' Dick Wolf-helmed series FBI: Most Wanted, filling the team leader role vacated by original star Julian McMahon. McDermott portrays Remy Scott, a complex guy with a big backstory to unfold over the rest of season three. McDermott is no stranger to the Wolf universe, having just completed an extended run on NBC's Law & Order: Organized Crime as very bad guy Richard Wheatley. According to McDermott, that role lasted longer than originally intended, but staying in Wolf's den of productions worked out well. "I think we really developed a shorthand on Organized Crime," he recently shared while promoting his new gig. "I was initially contracted for eight episodes, and then I did another eight. I went into that fully committed and knowing exactly who my character was. Dick and everybody at Wolf Films recognized that.
