We saw that among the top rated Broadcast programs there was an opportunity for Cereal advertisers to explore an improved allocation of their TV dollars. Using consumer purchase behavior, in this case the top buyers of Cereal, we built an optimized scenario using TRA&#8217;s patented Media TRAnalytics&#174; to identify a plan for the category that identifies the best program environments to reach these top Cereal buyers while maintaining the same level of gross rating points (GRPs). We were able to fine tune the plan using TRAs True Target Index and yielding a 25% improvement in the target rating points (TRPs). You may be thinking &#8211; sure, but it probably cost more to achieve that &#8211; well, we actually did this while also reducing costs (based on industry averages) by 14%.
