amp160What the heck were the ComicCon organizers thinkingamp160Kevin Pereria and Olivia Munn the cohosts of G4amp8217s Attack of the Show who rule over fan boys and girls like few other people on television and telecast their show live from the ComicCon floor every year found themselves stuck in a relatively small room that seated about 325 people for their Con panel on Friday Smart Congoers sat through a previous panel in the room for Nickelodeonamp8217s The Fairly Oddparents just to have a seat for the AOTS hour so only a couple dozen of the more than 1500 people waiting in line for it got in The others were turned away and they werenamp8217t happy about it No access to Kevin and Olivia I thought there would be a riot but as always the Con attendees proved to be a mellow bunch even when they are grievously disappointedamp160The unfortunate hundreds missed a wild session Attendees were given kazoos and asked to play the AOTS theme song when Kevin and Olivia contributor and comic book aficionado Blair Butler and producers Joshua Brentano and Vinny Rutherford entered the room amp8211 this in addition to a standing ovationamp160amp8220Olivia have my babyamp8221 cried one desperate audience memberamp160amp8220Kevin lick my backamp8221 cried an even more desperate personamp160amp8220ComicCon is all about the fansamp8221 Olivia declared to an earsplitting response amp8220Things live and die hereamp8221 Her obvious love of all things Con explained her cheerful acceptance of some of the ruder remarks from the audience and her eagerness to autograph the recent Playboy that featured her on its cover The Playboy cover was plastered all over an icecream truck that parked on various Gaslamp District streets during the Con The top of the truck displayed a sign that read amp8220Olivia Munn is Hotamp8221 Ice cream was dispersed to her overheated fansamp160amp8220There are seven million people in line outsideamp8221 Pereria told the crowd amp8220We want to make each and every one of them insanely jealous by tweeting how bad ass this panel isamp8221 It would be panel members raved the largest mass tweet ever Tweeters in the room were given a special code to include in their tweets to prove they were actually there The top three tweets Kevin promised would be shared with the room at the end of the session and the crowd would vote for their favoriteamp160Sure enough after a raucous 45 minutes or so the top three tweets were revealed on a big screenamp160amp8220Hey who are these people I thought I was in line for The Big Bang Theoryamp8221amp160amp8220OMG theyamp8217re playing naked grease tag while kazooing to the final countdownamp8221amp160amp8220I think it just cured my cancer Never mind amp8230 itamp8217s still thereamp8221amp160The winner was the tasteless cancer tweet The winner received a framed autographed poster featuring his two heroesamp160The session concluded with what Kevin described as a nerd rave likely the first on these in the history of the Con As the lights dimmed the people in the room went nuts dancing playing the AOTS theme on their kazoos and waving glosticks that had been handed out at the startamp160
