CBS’ Mom is a minor miracle; better in its fourth season than the previous three, which were pretty darn great to begin with. Not since the heyday of those classic Norman Lear comedies of the ‘70s – from All in the Family to Maude to Good Times – has a broadcast sitcom so boldly addressed the issues of its day without failing to find the funny.
