of apologies now When I think back on some of the awful things I said to my mother what a little bitch I was and now I really feel awful Although I have to say a lot of times I feel I was being they take everything so personally I think I cried for about four years straight as a teen because of hormones and the fact that I was never going to go out with John Taylor or Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran amp160We were never going to go on a roller coaster togetheramp8221It matters not what family discord might lay at the foundation of a Goldbergs storyline clever writing always ensures the show nails the heart and soul of what it is to be family ending with a heartfelt resolution amp160Itamp8217s those moments Wendiamp160cites as personal favorites amp160amp8220When I watch the episodes Iamp8217m just as surprised as everyone elseamp8221 she admitted amp160amp8220When I see the footage at the end where they seem to really justify something thatamp8217s happened amp8230 To me itamp8217s great because there are times your kids can be brats amp160But what are you going to do amp160Youamp8217re their parents amp160You love themamp160 Theyamp8217re just going through something and you canamp8217t punish them for every little thing because life can be terrible as it is amp160Thereamp8217s nothing worse than having a face full of zits and having to go to schoolamp8221As for the actors playing her sons Wendiamp160said amp8220I love them for very different reasonsamp8221 She is pictured above third from left with her costars Jeff Garlin Hayley Orrantia George Segal Sean Giambrone and Troy GentileShe thinks Troy Gentile who plays eldest son Barry is most like the real Barry while the real Adam Goldberg may have been a little amp8220nerdieramp8221 that his onscreen counterpart played by Sean Giambrone for whom she has high praise amp160amp8220If one day he started his own religion I wouldnamp8217t be surprisedamp8221 she jokes of her onscreen youngest amp160amp8220I would also join because there is something about that kid that pulls you inamp8220You really want to be friends with himamp8221 she continued amp160amp8220Heamp8217s really good at making you feel important and asking questions and remembering information amp160For a kid of that age itamp8217s incredible amp160Heamp8217s one to ask really intelligent questions and remembers minutia just like a politician amp160Heamp8217s the one keeping us all in line on the set and I really feel like heamp8217s been here before amp160He seems to have it all figured outamp160 I still donamp8217t and Iamp8217m in my 40samp8221At the time of our interview Wendiamp160was still awaiting details of the fourth seriesamp8217 finale but was excited about it for one reason in particularamp160 amp8220Weamp8217re almost at syndication babyamp8221 she screamed amp160amp8220That doesnamp8217t happen that much anymoreamp8221She was also thrilled about the episode airing March 1 another in a long line of homage stories that the series does so well this time to the amp821680s classic The Karate Kidamp8220That one is hilariousamp8221 she raved amp160amp8220We have a pretty good twist on the story involving Barry and Adam A good analogy is itamp8217s kind of like sending your kid to a chickenpox party in an effort to prepare them amp160I watched the ending being filmed and
