Antony Young is based in New York and heads Mindshare North America.
Antony joined the WPP Group last year. He has a global career that spans the UK, Asia/Pacific and the US.
His passion is communications strategy and has worked with some of the most influential global brands in the world including Unilever, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Toyota.
He recently authored “Brand Media Strategy” [Palgrave MacMillan], the first book in the US to be published on communications planning. It shares his insights on developing media strategy in a Google and Facebook era. Last year he chaired the media and communications planning category of the Jay Chiat Awards for strategic excellence.
In 2010, Antony was a winner of the 4A’s Transformer competition, presenting his industry transforming idea at the 4A’s media and leadership conference.
