Margret Schmidt is Vice President of User Experience at TiVo. In such capacity she serves in the role of chief design officer, responsible for TiVo's TV, PC, Mac, Web, and mobile experiences. Her team works across all divisions of the company — ensuring a fun, easy-to-use, and consistent TiVo experience for all consumer, operator, and international TiVo DVRs, and tivo.com. Margret has been with TiVo since 2001.
Margret holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley. She has a 2006 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Interactive Television, and was a contestant on the BBC kid's show Beat the Boss.
