It's earnings call season, and there is quite a bit of news to digest. Unlike the same time last year, we've hit a lull of new streaming service introductions. So now it's an all-out war for eyeballs, attention, engagement and, of course, subscription revenue. For the social media world, the reality of tech's embrace of consumer privacy is here and, for now, it is starting to hit the bottom line of some of the biggest players.
