Jackson uses consumer insights combined with an understanding of the category and business to inform the development of communications platforms that provide inspiration and guidance for a number of PHD’s US clients. Jackson also seeks to ensure that these communications platforms and the resultant ideas will form a synergy with the work undertaken by other partner agencies.
Prior to joining PHD, Jackson was an SVP of Strategic Planning at McCann Erickson where he led the development of communications platforms for Unilever that could be executed across multiple environments. Jackson was also involved in the global launch strategy for several Novartis brands. At McCann, Jackson provided strategic thought leadership to a wide range of agencies both within and outside IPG.
Jackson has been involved in account and strategic planning for more than 10 years. His planning experience builds on his background as a qualitative market researcher and branding consultant in the UK as well as his service as a Constable in the police in Northern Ireland and England.
Jackson has worked for clients in the entertainment, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, toys/ games, financial, office supplies, and hospitality categories.
Jackson read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Exeter College, University of Oxford.
