AVRIOB2B SAAS PLATFORM INTEGRATES B2B MARKETING, EDUCATION AND DIVERSITY PROGRAMS WITH CRM SYSTEMS

Launch of MeetingPrep.com vertical search engine completes

integrated B2B education and diversity SaaS platform funded by media industry

In 2020, after a decade of development and pilot testing, MyersBizNet introduced the media industry’s successful launch of MeetingPrep.com as the final pillar of its AvrioB2B SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. In making the announcement, media ecologist and MyersBizNet founder Jack Myers commented: “Digital has disrupted content publishing; Salesforce has disrupted CRM; Zoom has disrupted events; but B2B content marketing, workforce development and education remain locked into traditional and obsolete paradigms. Over the past decade the media community has invested more than $20 million to build the AvrioB2B SaaS platform and change that.”

MyersBizNet was founded in 1984 by Myers with funding from 15 media companies and agencies to identify, develop, build and implement tools for growth.  Today, more than 150 companies, agencies,  trade associations, non-profit organizations and subject matter experts have integrated its MediaVillage Knowledge Exchange, AdvancingDiversity.org, The Myers Report, and TV/Video Download platforms into their B2B marketing and talent development programs. The recent launch of MeetingPrep.com adds AI-based vertical search to the arsenal of applications organized to more effectively and efficiently support and serve B2B marketers. “Based on our success in meeting the needs of our membership in the media community to reach and transparently influence brand marketers, agencies, educators, diversity professionals and job seekers, we’re raising capital to consolidate our media industry leadership and expand our AvrioB2B SaaS platform to multiple industries,” Myers said.

By creating an integrated vertical search network under the MeetingPrep.com brand, the company is at the epicenter of a reinvention of B2B marketing focused on connecting educational tools and diversity programs to revenue generation. The next step in the planned evolution of the MyersBizNet SaaS platform is integration of B2B educational resources, journalistic content, and diversity-focused workforce advancement tools with Salesforce and other CRM and demand generation platforms.

Added Myers: “MeetingPrep.com is the final piece to an elaborate jigsaw puzzle of integrated SaaS capabilities focused on advancing stakeholder education and a diverse workforce, which are required pillars for driving growth. MeetingPrep is the traffic driver to more than 15,000 original and exclusive multi-modal educational reports, articles, studies, white papers and profiles aggregated and curated at MediaVillage in collaboration with hundreds of leading media companies, agencies, non-profit organizations, D-E-I activists, trade associations and subject matter experts.”

MeetingPrep search is based on sophisticated AI-based custom algorithms that prioritize original and exclusive educational content created by MediaVillage’s members, subject matter experts, experienced journalists, and curated content from 30+ publishing partners. MediaVillage and MeetingPrep.com accept no paid advertising or SEO revenues.  A $1 million out-of-home and digital advertising campaign is supporting the launch of MeetingPrep.com.

PASSIONATE MEDIA ECOLOGIST BUILDS DISRUPTIVE B2B MARKETING SAAS PLATFORM DRIVES ECONOMIC GROWTH

Jack Myers, media ecologist and MyersBizNet founder is a well-known marketing and media industry leader who has been at the forefront of media and marketing innovation for more than four decades. As the world’s leading practicing media ecologist, Myers has dedicated his career to assessing the role of media content and technology in culture, business and society. He’s written five books on the topic and views the ongoing industry transformation as successful expansion of MyersBizNet’s new AvrioB2B SaaS platform for B2B marketing as the culmination of his 50-year career that he believes is a necessary advance to drive non-commerce based media growth for decades ahead.

The MyersBizNet AvrioB2B SaaS platform is built on a foundation of marketplace intelligence under The Myers Report brand, online education under the MediaVillage Knowledge Exchange, and talent development applications developed by AdvancingDiversity.org. The applications combine to reinvent business-to-business, business-to-talent, and talent-to-business communications and collaboration.

Myers explains that the recent addition of MeetingPrep.com, a vertical search engine focused on media, advertising and marketing, is a connective tissue that will enable professionals, educators and traditionally underserved communities to quickly and confidently to access knowledge and prepare for career advancement.

Myers’ background includes executive positions with CBS-TV and ABC-Radio and he has led the industry’s most respected strategic market research collective since 1984 (The Myers Report). MediaVillage was launched in 2009 when Myers noted that media websites were focused on programming promotion and there were almost no online resources available to educate B2B stakeholders, including clients, their own teams and prospective employees. Today, the MediaVillage Knowledge Exchange hosts and manages more than 150 individual B2B educational sites on behalf of media companies, non-profit organizations, trade associations and subject-matter experts.

SOLVING OBSTACLES TO BUSINESS GROWTH

In the past decade, The Myers Report research uncovered two major obstacles preventing advertising-supported media industry growth. “Every company and organization needs to communicate regularly with clients and prospective clients,” explains Jack Myers, media ecologist and MyersBizNet founder. “Media companies have always directed their attention and marketing muscle toward media agency planners and buyers. As Facebook, YouTube and Amazon gained momentum and as the competitive landscape transformed, media companies sought unsuccessfully to directly reach and influence budget-holders at brand marketers – their end clients.”

In the past decade, advertising and media, once consolidated under corporate marketing organizations, has bifurcated with marketing and advertising falling within sales and distribution and media budget allocation shifting to finance and procurement. Marketing and media have become increasingly distanced from each other, and the access of media sellers and agencies to budget stakeholders is restricted. “Our research found these stakeholders have little time for or interest in media beyond e-commerce, sales promotion programs, and major sponsorships. We learned that traditional B2B messaging is ignored, search and LinkedIn Learning is ineffective, and easily accessible knowledge for self-education is unavailable. MediaVillage and MeetingPrep.com, in tandem, make access to on-demand knowledge accessible, quick, and manageable.

The second major obstacle to growth identified by The Myers Report is the industry’s failure to build, retain and develop a diverse workforce. In 2011, Myers launched WomenAdvancing.org, the first of several initiatives that have been combined under AdvancingDiversity.org and lead the industry’s collective focus on advancing diversity from advocacy to activism.

“Since founding MyersBizNet in 1984, we’ve led the industry in building tools for growth that deliver an essential turn-key tool kit to our member organizations,” said Myers. “When optimized and integrated with CRM systems, AvrioB2B tools are proven to increase market share and industry growth by focusing on stakeholder education and workforce development. These same fundamental needs apply to many other industries. Our future focus is on consolidating our leadership in the media and advertising community and to begin building B2B marketing “Villages” for talent and stakeholder education across multiple industries.”
